Saint Anne's Slow-Bolt Lettuce (Letuca sativa) seeds

Saint Anne's lettuce is an unusual, bolt-resistant diminutive romaine that’s best as a cut-and-come-again.  All lettuces are among the most cold-tolerant of vegetables, but this one can withstand some heat as well.  

We do best starting lettuces in Orta pots and planting them out when they’re big enough to survive a slug attack (about 4” tall).

To save seed, just leave one plant to bolt, and collect the seeds from the fluffy seed heads when they’re dry.
