How to give the Orta Seed Club as a gift

You're such a great gift giver! They'll love it! ❤️😎🌱

Step 1:

In check-out, use YOUR email address, ideally a secondary email if you have one.

If you have a secondary email address that is not already associated with an Orta account (perhaps work vs. personal), it will be much easier to keep your own membership / Orta purchases separate from your gift recipient.

If you don't have a secondary email, it's not a deal breaker. We'll keep it straight, but it may require a bit more communication.

Step 3:

Enter your own payment information and billing address. (We'll add the gift recipient's mailing address later.)

Step 4.

Finish Check-out.

Step 5:

Update gift recipient information.

Immediately after check-out, you will receive an email with seed club info. At the bottom of the email you'll see a link to update shipping and contact info for the gift recipient. (You can also access the gift update form here.)

Step 6:

Last step! When you're ready for your gift recipient to know they've received the gift, forward the welcome email to them. They will be able to use the links in that email to create their own account and access all the digital perks!

Please note: it may take us 1-2 business days to update the membership information you provide in the form before the recipient can log into the digital side of the membership.

Managing the gift membership:

The gift membership will auto renew until you cancel it. You will receive renewal notifications at the email address you used to sign up.

You can manage the membership within your account on the Orta website (using the email address you used to purchase the gift membership). That's also where you can go to cancel the membership.
